"Easy Markdown"(이하 "본 앱")은 개인이 개발·배포하는 안드로이드용 마크다운(.md) 리더 앱입니다. 본 방침은 본 앱이 어떤 정보를 다루는지, 어떻게 저장·사용되는지를 설명합니다.

회원가입 및 계정

본 앱은 회원가입, 로그인, 계정 시스템을 제공하지 않습니다. 이름, 이메일 등 개인 식별 정보를 수집하지 않습니다.

기기 내부에만 저장되는 정보

아래 정보는 모두 사용자의 기기 안(Android SharedPreferences)에만 저장되며, 개발자의 서버나 그 어떤 외부 서버로도 전송되지 않습니다. 앱을 삭제하거나 앱 데이터를 초기화하면 함께 삭제됩니다.

• 사용자가 선택한 폴더에 대한 접근 권한(Storage Access Framework URI) — 본 앱은 사용자가 직접 선택한 폴더 안의 .md 파일에만 접근하며, 다른 파일이나 폴더에는 접근하지 않습니다.
• 최근에 연 파일 목록, 북마크 여부, 마지막으로 읽은 위치(스크롤 진행률)
• 테마(라이트/다크), 글자 크기, 언어 설정 등 앱 환경설정 값

네트워크를 통해 전송되는 정보

• 문서 안의 원격 이미지: 열람 중인 마크다운 문서에 http:// 또는 https://로 시작하는 이미지 링크가 포함된 경우, 그 이미지를 화면에 표시하기 위해 기기가 해당 이미지가 호스팅된 제3자 서버에 직접 접속합니다. 이 과정에서 사용자의 IP 주소 등 통신에 필요한 정보가 그 제3자 서버에 전달될 수 있으며, 이는 본 앱 개발자가 수집·저장하는 정보가 아닙니다.
• 광고(Google AdMob): 본 앱은 무료 배포를 위해 Google AdMob 배너 광고를 사용합니다. Google 및 광고 파트너는 광고 식별자(Advertising ID), 대략적인 위치, 기기 정보 등을 활용해 광고를 게재·측정할 수 있습니다. 유럽경제지역(EEA)·영국· 스위스 사용자에게는 Google이 제공하는 동의 관리 플랫폼(UMP)을 통해 광고 개인화 동의 여부를 선택할 수 있는 화면이 표시됩니다. Google의 데이터 처리 방식은 Google 개인정보처리방침을 따릅니다.

사용하지 않는 것

본 앱은 별도의 분석(Analytics)·충돌 보고(Crash Reporting) SDK, 클라우드 동기화, 회원가입/로그인, 위치 정보 수집 기능을 포함하지 않습니다.

아동의 개인정보

본 앱은 만 14세 미만 아동을 대상으로 서비스를 제공하지 않으며, 아동으로부터 개인정보를 의도적으로 수집하지 않습니다.

변경 고지

본 방침이 변경될 경우 이 페이지에 변경 사항과 시행일을 갱신합니다.

Easy Markdown Privacy Policy

"Easy Markdown" ("the App") is a markdown (.md) reader app for Android, developed and published by an individual developer. This policy explains what information the App handles and how it is stored and used.

No Account Required

The App does not offer sign-up, sign-in, or any account system. It does not collect personally identifying information such as your name or email address.

Information Stored Only On Your Device

The following information is stored only on your device (Android SharedPreferences) and is never transmitted to any server operated by the developer. It is deleted when you uninstall the App or clear its app data.

• Access permission (Storage Access Framework URI) for the folder you chose — the App only accesses .md files inside the folder you explicitly selected, and nothing else.
• Your recently opened files, bookmarked files, and last reading position (scroll progress) per file.
• App preferences such as theme (light/dark), text size, and language.

Information Sent Over the Network

• Remote images in documents: if a markdown document you open contains an http:// or https:// image link, your device connects directly to the third-party server hosting that image to display it. Your IP address and other information necessary for that connection may be shared with that third party; this is not collected or stored by the App's developer.
• Advertising (Google AdMob): the App uses Google AdMob banner ads to support free distribution. Google and its advertising partners may use advertising identifiers, approximate location, and device information to serve and measure ads. Users in the EEA, UK, and Switzerland are shown a consent screen (Google's User Messaging Platform) to control ad personalization. Google's handling of this data is governed by the Google Privacy Policy.

What the App Does Not Use

The App does not include analytics or crash-reporting SDKs, cloud sync, sign-in, or location tracking.

Children's Privacy

The App is not directed at children and does not knowingly collect personal information from children.

Changes to This Policy

If this policy changes, the updates and effective date will be posted on this page.
